On Monday, the Deweys were in a hotel room for the first time since the crash.
“It’s not easy,” said Dewey.
“The whole day, I don’t want to talk about the crash.”
Dewey said his family is still in shock, but they are thankful for the outpouring of support.
“I was so thankful for that,” said Josh Deweey.
“I can’t imagine how my family and friends were all feeling.”
DeWey said it’s hard to get over the shock of losing his two sons and his wife, who died in the crash in January.
“We’ve just been trying to be here for the last four days, and it’s a struggle,” he said.
“We’ve been dealing with so much, and we’re still dealing with the loss of our family.”
DeWy said he’s not going to make any promises, but he will say that his family will always be there for him.
“Our family will be here,” he added.
DeWys family members said he had never lost so many loved ones in one day.
“It’s a tough thing to deal with, and he will never stop fighting for everyone in his family,” said a friend of DeWys.
“He’s just got a whole family of people who are there for each other,” said another friend.
DeWeys family and the people who lost their loved ones will now celebrate their loss.
