Pizza Hut will open its new Pizza Hut in Washington, D.C., next month.
The chain plans to open its first U.S. location in Washington on Jan. 1, 2018, according to The Wall Street Journal.
The news comes on the heels of Pizza Hut’s recent acquisition of the popular chain franchise franchisee Jojo’s.
Pizza Hut is also expanding its online store.
It announced plans to bring back its popular Pizza Hut app to mobile phones and tablets.
Pizza Hut will be the first restaurant chain in Washington to add online delivery, the WSJ reported.
The restaurant chain is expanding to 10 locations in the D.G.I., the city’s metro area, which covers more than 100,000 square feet of space.
It will also be the largest franchisee of any D.N.C. franchise.
Jojo’s Pizza will be opening its new location in the new city of D.
Cs. on Jan 9, 2018.
The new restaurant will offer “a great selection of local, regional, and national products and a great atmosphere” according to a release.
A franchisee for Domino’s Pizza has announced plans for a new franchise in the U.K. to be opened in 2018, the Daily Mail reported.
New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio announced plans Monday to bring the city into the online pizza-ordering business, the Associated Press reported.
He announced plans at a news conference Monday.
In June, New York City mayor Bill deBlasio said he wants to have as many as 20 online pizza restaurants by 2020.
