The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office is using a drone to help search for two men who were missing for over a month.
On Saturday, police in Riverside, California, arrested a 23-year-old man on suspicion of robbery and kidnapping.
His arrest came after the man’s parents, who live in Riverside and were notified about the man missing, notified authorities, authorities said.
The Riverside County Sheriffs Office said the suspect’s father, Anthony, was driving to the airport in Sacramento when his son called to say his son was missing.
Police were able to locate Anthony and the suspect and took the man to a nearby police station.
Authorities have not released the suspect name, but the Riverside Sheriff’s Department identified him as Michael Anthony Lacy.
Police said they believe the suspect has an accomplice.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic man between 30 and 40 years old, about 5 feet 9 inches tall and about 170 pounds.
He was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt with black pants, dark shoes, a dark jacket with black shoulder pads and was carrying a small black handgun, police said.
He had a silver ring on his left ring finger and he had a scar on his right index finger, the Riverside County sheriff’s department said.
The suspects car was not located.
