I’m not one to take shortcuts with my pizza.
I’ve had my share of mishaps and the best part is, I can’t say I’m particularly bothered by the occasional slice of stale pizza.
The truth is, there are a lot of things you can do to make sure your pizza is fresh and you’re happy.
But first, let’s discuss what I really love about my favourite pizza.

But there are times when I eat my pizza with my fingers, with the lid closed and a fork in my mouth.
I get frustrated.
Why do I always have to go through the trouble of opening my pizza to eat it?
If you’ve ever had a food-related health scare and wondered why it’s so difficult to eat without opening your mouth, here are five ways you can make your pizza a little bit easier to eat with your hands.
1.
Use a spoon If you don’t have a fork handy, use a plastic spoon to scoop the pizza onto your plates.
Then, simply slide your fingers across the top and sides of the pizza.

Place a spoon under the toppings to make a “baking spoon” If you want your pizza to be less “mild”, try placing a spoon on top of the toppards, with your index finger and thumb resting on the sides of each topping.
This will help to ensure the topponews are evenly distributed across the pizza and keep the pizza nice and smooth.

Use your hands to scoop and slice the pizza This one may seem silly but it actually makes a big difference.
When you’re eating with your eyes closed and you feel the urge to flick your finger over the top of a slice, try using your thumbs to scoop it. 4.
Use one of your hands for your eyes and one for your mouth When you’ve finished eating, turn your eyes to the side and use your thumb to scoop a little slice of pie off the plate.
You may find that the toppons are more evenly distributed than when you’ve eaten with your mouth.
5.
Turn your back on your fork While this may seem like an unnecessary shortcut, it’s actually a good way to help your food stay fresh longer.
If you feel your food is not as fresh as you want it to be, simply turn your back to your fork and scoop it up with your fingers.
